Mission Statement . . .
Our mission is to honor and glorify God and to support the ministry of Central Church by providing quality Christian care and support for families as we share the love of Christ in a safe and loving environment where children grow physically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
About us . . .
For more than 37 years, Central Learning Center Preschool has served the community by providing quality care and education in a safe and loving Christian environment. Our ministry offers preschool programs as well as before and after school programs for children in area schools. The Center, certified by the Tennessee Department of Education, has a well-trained staff experienced in early childhood education. It is our goal to enhance and nurture the development of each child spiritually, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and socially.
We welcome all applicants regardless of race, sex, religion, or national origin. The program operates year round from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Central Learning Center maintains an open door policy to all parents of children enrolled in the Center. Others are welcome to tour the facility between 9:15 - 11:15 a.m., or by appointment.
Health Policy . . .
The Center is not equipped or staffed to provide care for sick children. You must keep your child at home if he is ill. In order to provide the healthiest environment possible, the Center has established the following policy. Regardless of what is causing the symptoms, children must be excluded from the Center if they have a fever (higher than 100 degrees), vomiting, or diarrhea. They must be picked up within the hour after you have been notified. They must have been free of fever, vomiting, or diarrhea for 24 hours without the aid of fever reducing medication.
Holidays . . .
Central Learning Center is open five days a week with the exception of the observance of the following holidays:
New Year's Day
Memorial Day
July 4th
Teacher Inservice Days
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day and the day after
Two Days at Christmas
Weeks containing holidays are not prorated.
